Tiab systems now include CAN interface
All Tiab Digital Controllers can now be supplied with CAN2B interfaces (backwardly compatible with all earlier CAN versions). Simply select a CAN configuration file (*.dbc) and all required CAN data is immediately available for real-time monitoring and control. Another seamless integration further enhancing the flexibility of our Digital Controllers.

Tiab present paper at the IMechE seminar on Control Techniques for Dynamic Testing
Maarten Michielen (Support and Development Engineer, Tiab Ltd) presented a paper entitled A Flexible Platform for Developing Control Techniques for Dynamic Testing.
It covered the innovative approach to providing flexible control systems that Tiab has pioneered, and uses a specific application to emphasise the benefits.
In total ten papers (event brochure 1.1 Mbytes) were presented from universities and commercial organisations.
Tiab release the Tiab Card Nest
Tiab are proud to release our new IP67 rated, eight channel remote conditioning unit. The robust enclosure can be mounted close the transducers to minimise noise pick up, yet readily allows comprehensive settings adjustments. The wide range of high specification conditioning has been achieved by using the highly rated Fylde Micro Analog 2 boards.

Tiab secure R&D award
The need for the UK to maintain and strengthen its position as a world leader in R&D has never been in question. To this end the government's support for emerging technologies has once again rewarded Tiab with R&D grants.

Tiab expand hydraulic hardware range
Tiab now offers a range of hydrostatic actuators and service manifolds.
The actuators can support large side loads, are fatigue rated and can achieve accuracies to 0.02mm over the full travel.
Hydraulic service manifolds cover low and high pressure solenoid control, to precise proportional control - with many safety and monitoring features. Please contact Tiab for more details.
New Tiab racks
Our new zintec, desktop and 19" racks now provide a more robust and spacious enclosure for our Digital Controller electronics. The surface finishes emphasise the quality we maintain throughout.
